DuBarry Photo Find

I was flipping through a Gene Kelly bio book that I got for a ridiculous price of 25 cents, and I found a picture of Lucy from DuBarry. She's in the middle of Gene and Red Skelton. Thought it was cute. I looked online a little and a similar pose can be seen on the movie poster, but they're all smiling instead of acting goofy. NBC -- You've probably had this happen to you. You're forced to wait on the phone while a company connects you to a real person well, wait no more. Thanks to a new web service called lucyphone.com you can avoid those annoying long waits.

"The goal of the website is to never have users wait on hold again," said developer Tom Orisitian. "We have a directory of over a thousand companies."

Go the LucyPhone.com punch the number or name of almost any company that has an automatic system. Plug in your own number and Lucy will call you once a live operator picks up the line. The brothers named the site LucyPhone after the phone made popular in the old "I love Lucy" show. Back then, you had no choice but to physically wait. Now, with lucyphone, you can still make the call while make sure you can get other things done too.

'Undercover Boss' in the Candy Factory

Last night, CBS aired its popular show 'Undercover Boss' and this week featured the 1800-Flowers president Jim McCann. First he toured a few of his chain stores learning how to create floral arrangements. Afterwards, he visited the Fannie May chocolate factory where he experienced firsthand what it's like to work on an assembly line. That day they were creating chocolate covered pretzel pillows, and his task was to let 30 lbs of them drop into a box to then seal up for delivery. Well, let me tell you now that he failed. Boxes weren't being made fast enough and by the end of his shift he had dropped many little chocolate pretzels all over the floor. However, he likened his experience to the "I Love Lucy" candy-wrapping episode. I'll say!
